Internships
Are you interested in an internship with the Commission?
The Commission accepts interns year round. Students may elect to intern in either a full-time or part-time (15 hours minimum) capacity. Interns will work out of the Commission’s office, located in Concord, N.H.
Interns are accepted from various disciplines. The Commission’s interns assist with all aspects of the Commission’s processes. This includes but is not limited to:
- Intake
- Docketing formal charges
- Case preparation
- Witness interviews
- Legal research
- Legal writing
Interns may also have the opportunity to attend mediations and legislative hearings.

How to Apply
Students may apply at any time, by submitting an application package that includes:
- Cover Letter: Explaining your background and interest in working in civil rights, and preference for full-time or part-time;
- Resume; and
- Writing Sample.
