Employee Discharge

New Hampshire is an at-will employment state. Employers may terminate an employee for any legitimate and non-discriminatory reason. If you feel your termination was discriminatory and/or retaliatory, please contact the Commission.

Constructive Discharge

A constructive discharge occurs when the employer discriminatorily creates working conditions that are so difficult, unpleasant, or intolerable that a reasonable person would not subject themselves to such conditions and therefore are compelled to resign.
